This is the comprehensive catalogue published in conjunction with the 1976 Robert Rauschenberg retrospective held in honor of America's Bicentennial at the National Collection of Fine Arts that subsequently traveled to the Museum of Modern Art, New York, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, and The Art Institute of Chicago. An internally bright, most handsome example of the paperbound first printing of this important document additionally BOLDLY SIGNED "BOB RAUSCHENBERG" in blue ink across the title page showing some typical light sunning to the spine.
