Recently rebound by Reliure Multi-Services - Diane Blais (Quebec) in full green cloth, black embossed lettering on spine and cover, patterned endpapers. Illustrated with several woodcuts by Thomas and John Bewick, reprinted from the first edition of 1795. This edition, dedicated to His Grace, Walter Francis Montagu Douglas Scott, Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, etc., then age 14, was specially prepared for younger readers. The first edition, first published in 1795, was reprinted in 1820. . Some occasional light foxing, else fine; pages supple, beautiful fresh binding, tight, and square. VERY GOOD. . Woodcuts. 12mo 7" - 7½" tall. x, lxxiv, 240 pp .
