Macmillan and Co., Ltd., 1930. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1930. No Edition Remarks. 544 pages. No dust jacket. Brown patterned paper covered boards with black cloth spine. Contains black and white and colour illustrations. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Top textblock edge dyed gilt. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor scuffing to edges and corners. Visible wear marks to boards.
