About This Item
New York: Harper, 2009. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Very Near Fine in a Vary Near Fine jacket. See scans and description. New York: Harper, 2009. Stated First Edition and First Printing. Selena Roberts' 'A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez'. Octavo, photo-illustrated dust jacket, blue and black boards with silver spine imprinting and Harper logo device blind-stamped on front cover, 255 pp. Very Near Fine in a Very Near Fine, unclipped jacket. Book shows some small whitish blemishes on front cover (see scan), and no other notable flaws; jacket shows no actual damage, just some inevitable spine-end crinkle and, when viewed at an angle iin the lights, some modest traces of rubbing. Very sharp. Roberts brings up several somewhat controversial points in this 2009 bio of A-Rod, but that's what one does if one wants to sell books - she also has never retracted errant remarks about the Duke lacrosse case.
