The Literary Guild, 1936. Cloth. Fine/Fair. Edited with Intro. by A.F. Tschiffely. Slightly smaller book, brown cloth with illustration of horse and rider embossed on front, gilt design, crossed rifles and title and author all near very good on spine, browned on left side of first front end paper, 438 lightly browned pages. DJ price-clipped, front and spine black at top, red and bottom but faded along bottom of front bookfold edge, very slightly faded on spine, photo of bookshelves full of Literary Guild books on back, white portions of back lightly browned. DJ has 3/8" tear with creases at bottom front tip and nearby, slight creases to bottom front, very slight wear to spine top edge, tiny tear at spine bottom right edge, two very tiny tears and microtear with crease at top back edge, two microtears at bottom back edge. Fair DJ/Fine book.
