New York: William Edwin Rudge, 1925. cloth-backed decorated paper-covered boards, paper spine label. Rogers, Bruce. 8vo. cloth-backed decorated paper-covered boards, paper spine label. 51, (3) pages. Limited to 525 copies of which this is one of 25 copies printed on hand-made paper and signed by Moore. (Haas 113). With the private bookplate of Herbert H. Johnson on the front pastedown. A near fine copy. Designed by Bruce Rogers and printed in Italian Old-style with an ornament in red on the title page.
The typography is by the notable American book designer Bruce Rogers (1870-1957), who "was appreciated in his lifetime. In addition to several honorary degrees, in 1948 he was awarded a gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters for distinction in the graphic arts. Over decades of accomplishment in which he designed approximately 500 books... Rogers literally defined the profession of book designing in the United States" (ANB). Francis Meynell stated that Rogers was."the greatest artificer of the book who ever lived

Other services such as UPS, air mail through the US Post Office and FedEx are available upon request. Foreign shipments are sent via USPS International Mail (either USPS First Class International Mail or USPS Priority International Mail, depending on package weight). In the US, please include US $7.50 for first volume and US $1.00 each additional volume. If ordering outside the US, postage is $30.00 for a single volume unless the book is very large.
