London: Edward Arnold, 1906. Book. Very Good. Hardback. First Edition. 19cm x 15 Cm. Attractive binding of full red calf leather with gilt decoration to the spine, gilt dentelles, bright gold marbled end papers. All edges marbled.. Stamped, "Riviere & Sons for the army and navy" to the verso of the front free endpaper. Pp. xv, 478; b/w frontispiece with tissue guard, numerous illustrations. Binding very good with minimal wear to spine and small chip to the top of the spine. Contents clean and tight, a few marks to title page and reverse of front endpaper, small note card tipped onto the reverse of the illustration listno inscriptions. A very good copy in a Riviere binding..
