London : Murray, 1907. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1907. No Edition Remarks. 403 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Vol I of II. Black and white illustrated plates. Noticeable thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pencil inscription to rear free endpaper. Light cracking and creasing to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has visible tanning with minor fraying and crushing to ends. Slight splitting to joints. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
