New York: Simon and Schuster, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Translated by Jonathan Griffin. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, clipped, generally rubbed, soiled at the back panel, shallow chips and tears at the edges and folds. Green paper and orange cloth on the boards, lightly bumped at the corners. Firmly bound with a slight forward lean, red top stain, clean internally. Gary's Prix Goncourt novel of African adventure, adapted into the 1958 John Huston film starring Errol Flynn.
