Scarce First Printing [Faber & Faber, London, 1967]; 96pp; blue boards, gold titling to spine, faint offsetting to endpapers, pencil price on ffep, a near-fine copy; in the very good, price-clipped dustjacket, spot marks at front top edge & rear near base, discolouration at extremities, minor chips at top; an excellent copy. Stoppard's first & best-known play. First performed at the Edinburgh Festival [1966] before being staged by the National Theatre Company.
