About This Item
De Wolfe, Fiske & Co. Fair. 1892. Hardcover. Before-the-turn-of-the-century, exceedingly rare children's book in relatively poor condition. Beautifully illustrated. No publishing date but my research indicates late 1890s. Cover spine has separated at hinge but still attached. Ffe and title page have separated. But are included. Unpaginated. Binding is precarious. Five pages are loose within but present. It appears to have no missing pages. Though head, tail and cover edges are worn (through to boards in many places) front and back covers remain vivid. Interior pages have light age toning with some bumps and chips along several edges. Gorgeous color photogravures along with wonderful black & white illustrations. No DJ. Photos upon request. ; 10.0 X 8.0 X 0.40 inches .
