Published as part of the 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature. Hardcover is full-bound in brown leather with gold spine lettering and decorations. Covers have gold decoration. Spine has four raised bands. Brown silk moire endpapers. All edges gilt. Brown satin index ribbon. Brown, black, and white illustrations by Gerry Gersten. 569 pages. "Notes from the Editor" pamphlet is not present. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Appears to be unread. A few spots on gold edges. Endpapers are lightly faded from contact with the leather at the edges. Pages clean and unmarked.
