Collectible; Very Good. 1871 1st English translation, published by London's infamous John Camden Hotten. 60 magnificent, highly-eroticized hand-colored and tinted plates complement the text. Re-bound in a handsome 20th century duotone cloth in extact replica of publisher's original binding. Bright gilt-lettering and decorative borders to spine, top-edge gilt, new marbled endsheets. A tight, very well-preserved, Near Fine copy. The plates, artistic and skillfully rendered, have held up very nicely: bright and clean and near-immaculate. Tall quarto, 123 pgs.
