Unusual Association copy, with a dedication as follows: "To Admiral John Hervey, with thanks for past friendship and current support", it is signed by David Crosby, of the US Naval Institute. The book is in FINE condition, in a FINE jacket, with minor rubbing. Hervey was a rear admiral in the British Navy stationed in the US in the later part of his career. The book also comes with a handwritten notification of David Crosby's death, addressed to John Hervey and his wife, Liz, from Beverly Crosby.
