Quarto; 96 pages; VG-; three-quarters dark purple bonded leather binding over pebbled cloth boards with gilt titling to front cover and spine and gilt tooling to all faces; some shelfwear to covers, including scuffs, rubbing, chips, slightly exposed boards, and a four-inch split from the head at the front hinge bisecting the spine below the title; textblock clean with red speckling on all edges; inscribed with an illustration reading "To Lucy From Charlie 5 Nov. 1901" on pre-title; full color plates from photographs throughout; one item of ephemera loose within, a pamphlet titled "Reply of His Majesty the King to an Address from the School, July 1, 1911.", shelved above case 4. "NOTE. In consequence of the lamented death of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, which occurred after our first edition was printed, Their Majesties King Edward and Queen Alexandra are referred to in many copies of this work by their former titles of Prince and Princess of Wales."
