Robert Picarello is the author of the New York Times bestseller Rulers of the Ring . He has been a professional sports journalist for over ten years, editing and writing for such prestigious publications as Wrestling World, Baseball Illustrated, Hockey Illustrated, Basketball Illustrated, Football Illustrated , and Yankees Magazine . He graduated from St. John's University in 1989 with a B.S. in Journalism. Picarello currently works as an associate producer for the National Hockey League's official Web site, NHL.com, and resides in Brooklyn, New York.
