London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1928. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publishers original light blue cloth with black titles to the front and spine, in D/W. 331pp + 4pp publisher's catalogue. A VG copy, very slightly marked and a little faded at spine. Faint signature "Beaton" on front free end-paper. Minor foxing to the prelims and to the fore-edge that has crept into the text block in places. The D/W is priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for) and is a good example with a portion of the upper section of the front panel partially torn away with the loss of the title and part of the author's name. There is also some minor chipping to the top and bottom edges of the D/W with minor soiling to the rear panel. Photographs/scans available upon request.
