London: Printed for Longman, Hurst, Rees, & Orme, 1807. In three volumes. [10], 535, [1]; [6], 592, [8]; [6], 494pp, [8]. With engraved title pages and 69 engraved plates. Contemporary gilt-ruled diced calf, later rebacked, contrasting black morocco lettering-piece, marbled edges. Extremities rubbed. Marbled endpapers, scattered spotting. An early edition of Church of England clergyman William Barker Daniel's (1754-1833) immensely popular guide to field sports, first published in quarto in 1801. The first volume concerns hunting and coursing, the second angling, and the third shooting. . 8vo.
