London: Cassell and Company Ltd., 1917. Cloth. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue cloth binding with blindstamped decoration in the centre of the front cover. Some rubbing and wear, the hinges are in good order, a bit pulled internally. Foxing and toning to the pages, including foxing to the title and prelims. Pages; XI, (3), 259, (1). Contains 8 black and white photographic plates. How WW1 affected Russia, and how Russia stood in relation to the world, the author was staying there (in Altai, south Siberia) when war broke out.
