Edinburgh and London:William Blackwood and Sons. 1854. 3rd edition, revised and enlarged. (xv)+380pp+16pp ads.  Illustrated, including frontispiece and 2 maps, 1 folding at end.  Brown boards lightly soiled and shelfworn. Internally, yellow end-pages lightly soiled with a previous owners name stamped to inside front board, but otherwise clean, with a binders ticket in inside rear board. The frontispiece, tissue guard and title page are foxed, but rest of pages clean. The folding map does have a tear to one fold but not one whithin the map itself. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
