London: Bell And Daldy, 1856. First edition. Hardcover. Orig. brown cloth decorated in blind and gilt, beveled edges. Aeg. Very good. 112 pages. 23 x 16.5 cm. Revised by Joseph Cundall with his monogram. Text by Charles Willingham at the Chiswick Press with Birket's illustrations (engravings) printed in colors by Edmund Evans. Initial letters also colored by hand. Binding designed by H. Rogers with his initials noted at front cover at bottom of gilt design. Interior contents clean and bright. Backstrip chipped head and foot, spine faded. Owner inscription free front endpaper.
