1581 EXORCISMS Demons 1ed Catholic CHANT Baptism Saint Ambrose Baptizandi Occult

A rare and highly desirable 16th-century Catholic treatise on the sacraments. Published in Rome by Giunta, this 1581 work contains black-letter Latin which was typical of much earlier printed books. While the book was written as instructions for baptism, this book contains prayers, hymns, litanies, scripture passages, and even pages of music and chant used in the office proper.

However, the highest value and draw of this particular work is the inclusion of instructions on demon exorcisms! In fact, the final 30 leaves of the book are all on exorcisms, exorcism prayers of Saint Ambrose, types of demons and demonic behavior, and so much more. A fascinating and highly desirable work on 16th-century exorcisms!
