Discusses climate, cost of living, market value of land, modern highway, excellent transportation, schools, hunting, fishing, farming, livestock industry, hogs, various crops, irrigation, mineral production, advice to new comers, opportunities for settlers, cost of production and profits, etc. Remainder of books offer information on Amador, Butte,Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Solano, Sutter, Tehama, Sacramento, Trinity, Yolo and Yuba Counties. Center page loose from staples, Wrappers lightly soiled and with light wear to the extremities. Very good. A very informative booklet. Black and white illustrations throughout.
