About This Item
London: Longmans, Green & Co, 1879. Hardcover. Good. Eighth edition. Brown quarter leather in heavy brown cloth boards. Ex libris labels on inside front covers of both volumes, otherwise unmarked. Binding tight and solid with hinges intact in both volumes, with the exception of volume 2 where pages xi to xv have come loose. No cracking to quarter leather spines. But wear has taken some of the shine off the spines especially at the extremities. Gilt titles etc. still bright and legible. The corners of the brown cloth boards are bumped. Photos available on request.
