About This Item
New York: Grosset and Dunlap, 1928. Hardcover without dust jacket, undated other than copyright date of 1928 (but certainly a reprint, c1950s/1960s), v + 294 pages, plus black-and-white photographs, plus laid in is the price clipped front flap of the dust jacket; very gently used, tight in binding, hardly a trace of shelf wear other than gentle bumps to spine ends, neat five-word three-line gift inscription in ink on free front endpaper dated "1957", otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout. See also our listing for David Coulson's classic Namib, and for Wilfred Thesiger's classic The Danakil Diary: Journeys Through Abyssinia, 1930-34, and for something completely different, our 4 issues of Safari [Club International] Magazine: The Journal of Big Game Hunting (buy two or more and save on postage!).. Hard Cover. Very Good.
