London: Sidgwick & Jackson, 1923 Fair Copy in illustrated cloth on boards. Colour illustration pasted on upper cover. Head of spine split along side edges and in centre. Lower spine edge rubbed. Corners bumped to boards. Previous owner's inscription on FFE and notes on half title page and lower rear end paper. End papers tanned. Pull out b/w diagrams at rear. Occasional foxing on folio edges. Clean text and b/w plates and illustrations.
