Professionally rebound in quarter blue cloth, with hand-made marble paper covered boards (background is cream, detail is in blue, two shades of green and black) titled in gold on a black leather label, b/w frontis portrait, " Andrew Browne Cunningham ", 45 b/w photographs, 16 maps, pull-out chart of the events of the war in Malta and in North Africa, 716pp. Viscount Cunningham is best known for his command of the battles in the Mediterranean in WW II but he had earlier seen service in WW I particularly in the Dardanelles. Condition of the binding is "new", condition of the text is g to vg. Faint stain on page 67.
