Photos and full description available on request. Condition generally very good except for water staining to covers (particularly vol.2 extending to FEP, half-title and title pages) and very minor traces of mould close to bindings. Photos are unscathed in both volumes: 449 bandw historic photos in vol.1, plus 370 in vol. 2. : more than 800 photo heliogravures in excellent condition.

Keiseisha, 1909. Green cloth hardcover with thread-tied binding. Used- Good condition. Book shows shelf wear. Light scuffing on the edges and corners. Small tear on the bottom right corner on the back cover. Slight creasing on the spine. Light pencil markings on pg. 2-8, 31, 173, 175-177. No further markings on the inside of the book. In contemporary full calf (lightly worn), single gilt rolls to board margins, flat spine divided by gilt double fillets into six compartments, gilt lettered red leather title label to second compartment, marbled endpapers, unobtrusive light spotting to opening and closing leaves and very occasional feint staining,overall a clean and attractive copy complete with engraved frontispiece. A rare edition; ESTC T94967, listing just four institutional holdings all in the UK.

Illustrated with engravings original dark grey endpapers, text block edges gilt. Pictorial green cloth with bevelled edges and coloured front with light damage to top of spine including loss of colour.A monthly paper for children and young people edited and probably largely written by T.B. Bishop. Printed? and sold by Morgan and Scott.Very goodSeller open to reasonable offers.
