Synopsis

The Saint in New York is the title of a mystery novel by Leslie Charteris that was first published in the United Kingdom by Hodder and Stoughton in 1935. It was published the same year in the United States by Doubleday. An abbreviated version of the novel was previously published in a 1934 issue of The American Magazine. This was the 15th book chronicling the adventures of Simon Templar, alias The Saint, an anti-hero character patterned somewhat after Robin Hood. According to the website saint.
