New York : La Societe Biblique Americaine for Daniel Fanshaw, 1820 Bound in full paneled calf, black spine label, 789, 206 pp. Tres bien etat. Attractive volume with edge wear, small chip at head of rear gutter, small chip to spine label, foxing to front and rear end papers and adjacent leaves, otherwise slight to rare foxing throughout, one leaf with a corner crease, otherwise largely unread. This is the first French edition published by the American Bible Society and was after the Paris edition of 1805.
