Quarter bound in black cloth over black paper-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Lightly bumped spine heel. Top and outer text block edges starting to fox. Light green endpapers. Pages just starting to tan. Internally neat, clean and tight. Dust jacket has very minor shelf wear, price unclipped. 8vo. The first volume of Douglas Fairbanks Jr's - raconteur, bon vivant, actor and diplomat - autobiography, spanning the 1920s and 30s, ending in 1941, when Franklin D Roosevelt sent him and his new wife on a fact-finding tour of South America just before the United States entered the Second World War
