Very Good/good. light shelf wear to tips, corners and edges of book with more to jacket which is chipped, spine darkened, most of title lost from upper spine; off setting to endpapers, gift inscription of 1935 with giftee's personal bookplate. In the original suppressed dust jacket. First edition, no others noted. Salamina is a copiously illustrated memoir of Kent's first Arctic winter (193132) spent painting and exploring while based in the tiny settlement of Illorsuit, Greenland.
