About This Item
NOTE: This is the trade edition equivalent of the Centipede Press limited edition issued in 2004, the first illustrated edition of this novel, the latter edition fetches about $2500+ these days.
Salem's Lot by Stephen King (The Gunslinger, Drawing of the Three, Wizard and Glass, etc. Carrie, The Shining, etc.) Hardcover First Trade Edition - First Printing NY: Doubleday US, 2005 $35.00 cover price 594 pages. Interior photographic illustrations by Jerry N. Uelsmann Lee, unique cover and interior artwork for this edition originally appearing in the Centipede Press limited edition in 2004.
Published by Scribner's in 2004 and in a limited edition by Centipede Press. Features a wonderfully spooky artwork. In my humble opinion, a more pleasing book than the first US trade edition which can easily fetch about $1500+.
Fine- in Fine Dust Jacket, a beautiful copy with some signs of aging, and two tiny spots on the left-hand side of the text-block, else a beautiful copy. NO tears and NO chips to the jacket, only a tiny hint of superficial discoloration to the upper corner of the back of the front flap, not seen on the front. Relatively uncommon in this edition.
NOTE: All modern books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.
ALSO: The picture is the actual item for sale. (The picture is NOT a stock photo.)
