Clean hardcover first edition published October, 1910. Decorated American trade binding. Green cloth boards with gold lettering, gold floral border surrounding title and small oval paste-on illustration on cover, gold lettering and small decorations on spine. Slight surface wear to corners, no fraying; very small puncture to spine, one corner lightly bumped. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with clean endpapers. Short tear to last blank page. All pages are clean, all are decorated. Illustrations by Harrison Fisher and Arthur I. Keller, including frontispiece by Fisher with clean tissue guard. 78 pages..
