Montgomery Evans II was a wealthy book collector who befriended many famous literary figures of the early 20th century including Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, Lord Dunsany, and Walter de la Mare. His bookplate was designed by Sidney H. Sime, and English illustrator whose work appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and books.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover.
