Baltimore: T Newton Kurtz, 1855. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 12mo. [1], 308 pages. Frontispiece engraving of John Martin Bolzius and engraved view of Jerusalem Church, Ebeneezer Georgia. Blind stamped red cloth front cover with gilt stamped title on spine. Corners bumped. Light soiling to covers. Moderate foxing and toning to the text. Previous owner inscription written twice on the right front flyleaf, "Mary T. Charlton, Savannah Georgia." Her name is also written on the front paste down.

Another rather wonderful find by this bookseller.I shall have a trip to Darien Ga to search out this seller and discuss our collections.My family is of French decent.Those French who fleeing harassment and even death from the early catholic church.They set sail and landed in South Carolina in the 1700s .Germans.were also fleeing for the same reasons.This book holds a wealth of Effingham co Ga information i'm sure of it.
