London: Published for the Proprietors by W. Simpkin and R. Marshall, [1818-1819].. Small 8vo. Twentieth century brown buckram, each play with its original wrappers bound in and with a frontispiece portrait of a named actor in one of the principal roles. A very good set. William Oxberry published over a hundred plays in this series between 1818 and 1824, the frontispieces present here are variously dated as above.
