FIRST AND ONLY EDITION circa 1906 (Bodleian Library accession date), IN THE ORIGINAL DUSTWRAPPER, 8vo, 220 x 145 mm, 8¾ x 5¾ inches, glazed colour illustrated boards, light green cloth spine, pictorial patterned endpapers, (24) pages. 11 excellent colour plates including 1 double, all of Dutch dolls, wooden horses and dogs engaged in hunting escapades including a collision with a motor car. Each plate faces a few lines of 'handwritten' text. No inscriptions, faintest brown offsetting from plates onto some text pages, otherwise a Fine as new crisp clean copy in very good plus pale green DUSTWRAPPER printed brown on upper panel, folds and spine lightly browned, tiny chips at head, tail and corners.
