This is a reprint of the original 1881 edition of the "San Francisco System of Wire Rope Street Rail Roads" booklet. This facsimile was published in 1967 by the Western Railroader - Vol. 30, No. 6, Issue No. 328. There are 16 total pages (including the covers). Nicely illustrated with numerous engravings. The booklet discusses the intricate wire rope system used to power San Francisco's famous cable cars, and the history of the city's street railways.
Condition:
There are 2 tiny staple holes at the inner page and cover edges. All pages are firmly attached. The pages are clean and white with no notable issues found. Overall the booklet is in Very Good condition.
