New York, Outerbridge and Lazard 1971.. 160+[16]pp. 8vo. Original cloth in rubbed dustwrapper, a little chipped. Name on ffe. B/w illustrations, including Henri Gaudier's line drawings and sculptures. A very good copy.. An account of the friendship between Henri Gaudier, the French sculptor, and Sophie Brzeska, including many of their letters which have been translated by the author. Gaudier and Brzeska met in Paris in 1910. By the end of the First World War they were both dead. First published by Heinneman 1931.
