Scarborough, Published by John Cole ..., [1825]. 1825 [8], 148, [2] p. Additional engraved title page. 6 engraved plates and vignettes in the text. Bound in printed boards as issued, with a replacement spine in brown cloth. All edges gilt. Some soiling and rubbing to the boards but the contents are clean and tight. Armorial bookplate of Henry Ecroyd Smith 1823 - 1889, first Curator of the Liverpool Museum. The title page is undated but the book can be dated by the Prospectus for Cole's History and Antiquities of Ecton printed on the final leaf. This was published in 1825.
