Click Publishing Company, 1959. Very Good. V5 N2, January 1959. Vintage oversize tabloid magazine devoted to news, entertainment, cartoons, non-nude pinups, sensationalism. Seemingly undocumented series; became "Scene for Men" by June 1959. A leftover tabloid published by noted comic book writer Woolfolk during the wrong decade that still managed to feature work by prominent photographers. Raven-haired Lisa Varga in fishnets cover/3pp (Steckler), Marilyn Monroe & Brigitte Bardot cover vignette/2pp, Guy Madison cover vignette/2pp, King Kong cover vignette, letters to editor, Capt. Iven Kincheloe space pilot, Bill Russell, Las Vegas burlesque, snake-fighter Ross Allen anaconda attack, "woo-manship" cartoons, sultry Faye Spain 2pp (Meyer), Calcutta plague, movie monsters, American women & sexual ignorance, Rahnee Motie feels no pain on pins, "Never Love a Stranger" (Lita Milan), ads (Mason Shoes, Dollar Mystery Guild). 10.5 x 13 inches, 42pp, saddle-stapled; rubber-stamped "OCT 29 1958" on rear verso. Very Good Plus, faint toning, slight roll, brief wear to rear cover.
