It includes a geographic introduction, an historical introduction and the travel of ideas and techniques between China and Europe over the centuries. Fine black cloth with illustrated boards and bright gilt (as new) title on the spine. No edgewear. Hiinges tight inside and out. Very clean pages with no foxing or browning. no prior owner marks. Dustjacket has minor edgewear and is protected by a clear, mylar sleeve. .
