Boston: Albert H. Hayes. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1881. Reprint. Hardcover. Blue boards with elaborate 19th century black and gilt spine and front cover. Published w/ laid in reproduction of certificate of author's qualifications. Modest edge and corner wear, especially at head/foot of spine, corners. Gilt darkened. Partial separation of the page with certificate attached from page following. Pink errata slip mostly removed from front of book, some foxing scattered throughout. Clean and tight otherwise. An unusual treatise in a delightful 19th century binding! .
