This is a near-perfect copy of Scotland the Brave: The Story of the Scottish Soldier, by the Australian military historian John Laffin (1922-2000). It was originally published in 1963, then White Lion re-published it in 1974. This is a copy of the White Lion edition.

It is an account of the involvement of Scottish regiments in conflicts through the years. Includes 12 regiments plus an account of the character, the humor, the politics, the V.C. winners and general life in these regiments. 191 pages including index and many illustrations.

This copy has an unclipped dust jacket with almost no shelfwear. Excellent condition.
