Some foxing. ; Colonial Edition, "Macmillan's Empire Library". The colonial edition is smaller in size and has fewer illustrations than the first edition. Two volumes (complete). Volume One: xviii, 497, [1], [2 (blank)] pages + frontispiece + 3 plates + folding map at rear + 8 pages advertisements. Volume Two: viii, 431, [1 (blank)] pages + frontispiece + 3 plates + folding map at rear. Decorative blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Title continues: "Vol I. Being the Journals of Captain R. F Scott, R.N., C.V.O. Vol II. Being The Reports of the Journeys and the Scientific Work Undertaken by Dr. E. A. Wilson and The Surviving Members of the Expedition."
