"The Sex Review" was an iconoclastic weekly newspaper that besides promoting an honest, if somewhat over the top (and bottom) attitude on sex, took on politicians, popes, actors you name it. The legendary Al Goldstein and Jim Buckley were its editors and they were not afraid to mock and ridicule the high and the mighty. This may have had something to do with the multiple arrests Goldstein and Buckley sustained. Screw had not yet hit its stride and it's fun to look at attitude and mores circa 1968-1971.
