Contains black and white and colour illustrations. Ex-Libris plate stuck to front pastedown and free endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Binding weakened but holds. Textblock edges in gilt. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavier marking to rear board. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.
