Book Interior NEAR FINE/ Boards Near Fine / Dust Jacket Very Good Plus. Boards and spine are red cloth, lettering gilt on white on spine. Dust jacket is red/grey, lettering red, black/white photo front. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has a few vertical creases and a chip or two off the colour on flap folds, back cover has a faint reddish stain on the red paper and a bit of greyish colour from adjacent book on shelf, has a few tiny chips at top of dj back fold and a 1/4 inch rip on top edge. DJ spine is a bit sunned and has some edge wear at top and two small rips, largest is 1/2 inch. DJ front cover has one chip and a 1/8 inch rip on top edge. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one slightly tipped corner tip, a slight bump on board side edges of front and back cover about 1/2 inch high, no spine creases, a smidge of sunning on top free edge of spine and a small horizontal crease at bottom free edge of spine. Page top edges red, none sunned. Inner end papers are white and have a small rectangular shadow of the binding cloth that is underneath the paper lining front and back covers. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Book has been slightly over-opened at page 97, which is the first page of the second plate block, but the binding is not broken, there are no pages loose or missing. Quality Book Club Edition. Illustrated by Ralph Thompson with Black/white sketches. Two sections of black/white photo plates.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
