A deluxe Franklin Library first edition of Joanne Greenberg's novel, which is set in the world of emergency medicine and explores aspects of love. Publisher's "Notes from the Editors" leaflet is laid in. With illustrations by James Campbell, and a prefatory note by the author. Issued as part of the publisher's First Edition Society series which preceded the Holt, Rinehart and Winston trade edition. One of an unspecified number in a limited edition. --- Bound in full blue bonded leather covers with two raised bands on spine. Text presented on quality papers. Spine titling, elaborate decorations to covers and spine, and textblock edges all in bright gilt. Blue silk moire endpapers, with matching sewn-in satin ribbon placemarker. Volume lacks a dust jacket (as issued). --- With a little sunning to edges of moire endpapers, otherwise lacking additional damages (and perhaps previously unread).; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; (12), 238 pages .
